The holiday village Vandoies (Vintl) at a height of 756 m above sea level is the home of the poet Arthur von Wallpach.

The centre is characterized by beautiful gardens and facades. On a hill with high larches stand two churches, the new parish church Annunciation to Mary from the late-Baroque period and the old Gothic parish church with a salutary oil well that was visited by many people seeking help in the past centuries.

The Loden World (Lodenwelten) describe the production of clothes starting from lamb’s wool.
Vandoies di Sotto below Vandoies is the starting point for hikes into the solitary Val di Fundres valley with its very high mountain farm houses.

In the surroundings of Vandoies di Sopra above Vandoies an idyllic waterfall is the main attraction, it can easily be reached on foot. The historic manor Baumgarten is also worth a visit.

The small village Vallarga lies at 4 km distance from Vandoies, here you can still encounter beautiful old two-part farmhouses (Paarhof), some of them still have a ridge bell on the roof.
